Term Meaning
Vault The contract that holds your assets and enforces the waiting room
Owner The key that can announce
Guardian The party that can only refuse
Announcement (op) A request stored in the vault: a send, a call, or a setting change
Waiting room The time between announcing and running
Ripe Old enough to run: now >= readyAt
Grace window The 14 days during which a ripe announcement can still run
Whistle A guardian refusal: a veto, or a panic
Veto Refusing one announcement
Panic Refusing everything pending, by moving the epoch
Epoch A counter. An announcement from an older epoch is dead.
Passkey A device-bound key unlocked by Face ID, fingerprint or PIN
WebAuthn The browser standard behind passkeys
P-256 precompile The chain's built-in check for passkey signatures, at address 0x100
rpIdHash sha256 of the website domain a passkey belongs to
EIP-712 The standard for signing structured messages. Used for veto and panic.
